The New Year’s Resolution Date

With the start of any new year, it’s a perfect opportunity to reflect on the past year and dream big for the future. During this date, you can celebrate your accomplishments from the previous year, discuss any setbacks, and make plans for this year. Along with personal and professional goals, be sure to include relationship resolutions that can strengthen and improve your relationship.

Get ready for your date…

·         You will need meeting supplies. Be as fancy or frugal as you like. Basic supplies include: Easel paper or Poster Board and permanent marker.

·         Get Refreshments! You’ll need fuel to come up with your best ideas and plans for this year.

·         Wanna go the extra mile???? During your date, come up with a motto that embodies your plans for the year.  If your plan focuses on family time, consider “Family First” as a motto, for example. After you have your motto, try a DIY project or have your motto printed as wall art, an accent pillow, or on a mug. This will not only serve as décor, but a great reminder of your plans throughout the year.
